Born in the region of Niellé Côte d¿Ivoire, Dr Ouattara Mämouna obtained her doctorate degree in the Department of English of University Alassane Ouattara, Côte d¿Ivoire. She specialised in African Studies particularly in Post-Apartheid South African Literature. She published nationally and internationally in the field of African Literature.
