In the findings there is a clear disparity in gender with respect to civic awareness. Also, the findings of the study show that, as age increases the level of civic duty, civic skills and civic participation is decreasing. As individuals grow old, they must become more mature, develop the feeling of community involvement and become more self actualized. The findings of the study will help people to compete with each other to grow, in-terms of improving their civic awareness, skills and responsibilities. Thus our country will definitely sooner become one of the finest countries in the world, even added in the list as a developed country.

Ms.Roopashree is a Life Skills Education Trainer and has served as a Resource Person and as a Liaison Officer with the Government and the Youth Clubs&Self Help Groups in Karnataka for over 10 years. She has received the Best District Youth Award - 2009 for excelling in the field of Social Work and Golden Buddha Award - 2013 for Karate Championship.
