It is a glorious ornamental plant sources for the medicinal and pharmacological applications utilized by the ethnic groups. Ornamental plants exhibited an important role in the discovery of novel drugs that are mainly used in the modern medicine. Biological method of producing methanolic leaf extracts from the plant parts is a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly approach. The extracts of roots, leaves, flowers and fruits can be an effective drug employed for various human diseases. Alcoholic plant extracts act as anticancer, anti-microbial, antioxidant, antitumour, apoptotic and cytotoxic agents. This plays an important role in many scientific areas such as pharmaceutical, pharmacological and medical fields. Current study confirmed the therapeutic potency of C. roseus can used in traditional medicine and advanced pharmacology.
