Cynthia M. Horne, Professor of Political Science, Western Washington University Cynthia M. Horne is Professor of Political Science at Western Washington University. Her recent research has focused on assessing the impact of transitional justice measures on trust-building, societal reconciliation and democratization in the post-communist transitions. Her articles have appeared in peer reviewed journals, such as the International Journal of Transitional Justice, Comparative Political Studies, Problems of Post-Communism, Law & Social Inquiry, and Europe-Asia Studies.
