It is also placing the negative impact on an environment. In addition with, the production of solid wastes, in developed countries it is creating a disposal and pollution problem which is a big liability of government. So this sort of problems motivates researchers to focus on the sustainable development of construction industry. Now a day, wastes are utilized with novel application in mind like using recycled concrete from construction and demolition wastes, using waste products from industries and utilizing agricultural wastes in lightweight concrete. In this book, a review was conducted on utilization of waste materials as aggregate in concrete and their different properties. In addition with, an experimental study was conducted on structural behaviour of reinforced concrete beam using ferrochrome slag as coarse aggregate.
