Internationally acclaimed master chef, author, and presenter James Haller has written numerous articles, books, and personal stories about his journey to becoming an award-winning master chef. He was the executive chef, founder, and owner of the Blue Strawbery restaurant in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Haller is the author of four cookbooks and two nonfiction books. At the End of Ceres Street, his salute to Portsmouth, New Hampshire is his third. Chef Haller received the Granite State Award for Outstanding Public Service in 2000, and The Canadian Robert Pope Wellness Award for What to Eat When You Don't Feel Like Eating. Haller has been a Seacoast Hospice board member and volunteer and also taught classes for the Association for the Blind, teaching unsighted people how to cook. Since then, he has often been invited as a guest chef at restaurants in Portsmouth.
