One of the main functions of the anthropologist and the forensic odontologist is to identify, by means of non-routine methods, the identity of a subject by means of the physical and observable characteristics of the features that the subject presents. These observable characteristics, especially bone, allow the professional to determine the sex, age and racial incidence of the remains or bones that may be found. The odontologist focuses his attention on features belonging to the stomatognathic system, while the anthropologist studies the set of bones that make up the human body in general. In this study, the aim is to expose the anthropometric craniofacial anthropometric features of the study of the anthropologist to estimate sex, race and age, which are of odontological interest and useful for the identification of bone remains or skeletons. The research carried out in the determination of sex, racial incidence and age is analyzed, in addition to a contribution about the so-called dental anthropology that studies the elements of the stomatognathic system from the anthropological point of view.
