As the adventure tourism is growing rapidly worldwide, this book tries to find out the mental courage and sentiments of Asian travellers, especially the youths' adventure travelling inspiration and examines various factors involved to their growing motivation viz Asians' inherited traditions, behavioural and societal values, family traditions, ethnicity, emotions and economic capability. This book has given emphases more on the analysis of young travellers' present thinking, values, current emotion, status and the participation of adventure travels by types, their level of education, colonial impacts and others. From the in-depth analysis it is found that the growing motivation of Asian youths has been affected predominantly by their long inherited social and cultural values, ethnicity and emotions acquainted with their regional cultural homogeneity and environment. The book also includes some other attributes like attractions by types, available amenities, gender by ages and economic affordability involved to it. Asian youths are inspiring gradually to take challenges in travels and trying to cope with difficult circumstances, which involves danger and risk.
Autorenporträt
Dilip Kumar Bhadra is Ex-Director at Bangladesh NSO. He joined the Government Service in August 1981 and worked as Civic Education Specialist under UNDP in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. He has 56 research papers, articles, reports and two books published by LAP. He received his Masters and Graduation in Economics and persuaded thesis in Japan.
