No single agent is completely effective in treating disease pathology and is devoid of side effects; consequently, a safe and effective treatment for RA remains elusive and additional therapies, with novel mechanisms of action, are therefore needed .

Mennatallah received her master degree in Biochemical Pharmacology, Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University, Egypt, currently a teacher assistant of pharmacology at faculty of pharmacy, PUA University. Her professional interests focus on rheumatoid arthritis, and her current project includes the accomplishing of her PhD in the same field.
