Out of these losses post-harvest losses are a major one. Post-harvest losses mean losses occurred between the harvesting of crops to consumption by consumers. My efforts are applied for designing A Solar Dryer for Post Harvesting Treatment of Cereals like Wheat & rice by considering the local geometry of particular places (Solapur, Maharashtra, India & Karjat, Raigad, Maharashtra, India). Also, the provision of thermal energy storage which can be used during a night which will eliminate the need for auxiliary energy sources like biogas, electricity, and fuel which adds a cost of drying; it will also help to reduce a time required for drying.

Sumit Dharmarao- Completed his Master's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering. Currently working as Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Department in one of well known Engineering Institute affiliated to Mumbai University. He also works as an individual researcher. He is the author of many research papers in the field of Machine Design & Energy.
