Nancy Boerner served as collection development librarian for West European studies, classical studies, and Germanic, French, and Italian languages and literatures at Indiana University's Wells Library. In 2005 she published a translation of Peter Boerner's biography of Goethe. Born in Switzerland, Gabrielle Bersier is emerita professor of German at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis.
