Autorenporträt
Steve's goal as an author is to encourage core values learning in children from all around the world. Children today are faced with a very complex and fast-changing world of information and technology in addition to the challenging journey of growing up and identifying who they are and making sense of the world they live in. Through Steve's background in education in international schools, he fully understands how quality life-skills education programs can greatly enhance children's confidence and wellbeing. Steve has teamed up with his Arts Director 'Daniel Garcia' to create a series of books 'ibook - core values for kids'. These books have been designed to teach young children from all nationalities and beliefs that there are values that are core to each and every one of us, regardless of where we are from. The ibook series consists of more than 30 books which will be published with the intention of connecting with as many readers as possible to share positive values in order to help children on their challenging journey as they grow up. Steve has over 13 years' experience in designing and running life-skills summer and winter camps where his education company 'Inspire EduCamps' is the provider to the top international school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At the focus of all Steve's camps are 'core values learning' where hundreds of children from over 25 nationalities engage in fun 'life learning' through activities. www.inspireeducamps.org Prior to being in education, Steve served in both the UK and Australian military and has traveled extensively. After the military Steve was involved in operating businesses both in the UK and Australia. These life experiences have contributed to a broader understanding of many aspects of life as a global citizen and from these combined experiences he has acquired a practical skillset that can translate to the holistic life-skills education of children.
