Yale S. Hauptman is a New Jersey and New York licensed attorney, who has been focused on elder law for more than 15 years. He and his wife have a law practice in northern New Jersey. Yale has personally helped thousands of seniors and their families plan for the complicated and emotional journey through the long-term care system. He has been featured in both local and national media and has been quoted in The Bergen Record, The Newark Star-Ledger, and Financial Advisor Magazine, among others. A graduate of Rutgers College and Albany Law School, Yale is a member of the Essex County Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as his local Chamber of Commerce. He is a frequent lecturer on elder law topics to attorneys, financial professionals, and health-care professionals as well as the general public. Yale and his wife, Laurie, have three children, who someday they may call upon to assist them in providing for their own long-term care.
