Do you dread making a phone call in German? Is your first question always: 'Do you speak English?' Do you wish you knew what the person at the other end was saying? If you wonder whether you've booked a hotel for June or July, whether your train leaves at 5am or 5pm, or whether you got that phone number right, then Teach Yourself Phone German is for you. This all-audio 75-minute course will get you talking (and understanding!) German speakers on the phone faster than you can say'Hallo'. This stand-alone course can be used by those who want to learn or brush up on phone conversation skills, and by more advanced learners who require extra audio material to complement their current courses. The ten realistic 'calls' cover the situations you are most likely to find yourself in while preparing for a holiday or business abroad. They are divided into two parts, with a dialogue in each part.
