Der Verdacht fällt auf eine Gruppe Schüler eines exklusiven Privatinternats, die für ihre Gewaltorgien bekannt ist. Zwanzig Jahre später holen Carl Mørck und sein Assistent Assad die Akte wieder hervor und finden neue Hinweise. Die Spuren führen hinauf bis in die höchsten Kreise der Gesellschaft und nach unten zu den Ärmsten der Armen: in die Welt der Obdachlosen.
Auch der zweite Fall für Karl Morck und sein Team hat es in sich. Spannend von Anfang bis Ende und sehr kompliziert. Jussi Adler Olsen besitzt die Gabe Charactere zu erfinden bzw. zu beschreiben, die einmalig böse sind und dennoch z. T. mitleiderregend. Ich bin restlos fasziniert von dieser Story in der vieles nicht so ist, wie man zunächst annimmt. Aber nicht nur der Fall selbst ist mehr als interressant, auch das Ermittlerteam ist etwas beonderes. Wer Band 1 (Erbarmen) kennt, weiß, wie es enstanden ist. Morcks Assistent Assad entwickelt sich weiter und es werden Andeutungen gemacht, die hoffentlich im nächsten Band aufgeklärt werden. Ich freue mich schon darauf.
