(Text German/English) This book is published on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the "European Photography Award", probably the most important prize for contemporary photography in Europe. As an inventory of the last decade, it also offers an insight into the current situation and the future of this medium, by presenting mainly the latest works of the prizewinners, their themes and projects. Hubertus von Amelunxen presents positions and arguments of current photographic theory.
