Carol Duncombe was born in Northampton. She has two sisters, Hilary and Sue, and two brothers, Martin and Barry. Carol is married to Richard and has two daughters, Charlotte and Emma. Charlotte has a daughter, Evee, and Emma has twin boys named George and Edward. Carol worked as a midwife for 45 years and delivered over 2000 babies.
