Autorenporträt
Marisa Merico was born to an English mother who had run away to Italy and married Emilio DiGiovanni. When her mother got too deep in the family¿s operations she escaped back home to Blackpool, telling her daughter her father was a good-for-nothing petty thief. Marisäs father, the Mafia Godfather of one of Italy most feared families, was determined to get Marisa back. Marisa returned to Italy, fell in love with her father¿s chief henchman and eloped with him to get married. Soon she was neck-deep in the family¿s terrifying operations with no way to escape. Then, suddenly, an auntie turned supergrass and Marisa, her father and 90 other members of the DiGiovine family were imprisoned in a 6-month trial that gripped Italy. Marisa is now out of prison and lives in Blackpool with her daughter.
