Arbeitsmarktpolitische Angebote und Instrumente berücksichtigen nicht immer die Bedarfe und Lebensumstände von Migranten und Migrantinnen. Gleichzeitig sind sie in dieser Zielgruppe oft auch unbekannt. Zur Verbesserung dieser Situation können Migrantenorganisationen beitragen: Durch die Kooperation mit Akteuren der Arbeitsmarktpolitik können Wünsche von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund in arbeitsmarktpolitische Netzwerke eingebracht werden. Zugleich werden über sie neue Entwicklungen an die Vereinsmitglieder herangetragen. Der Leitfaden will Migrantenorganisationen für diese Aufgaben sensibilisieren und unterstützen. Es werden die zentralen Akteure der Arbeitsmarktpolitik vorgestellt und konkrete Möglichkeiten sowie Tipps und Hinweise gegeben, wie und wo Migrantenvereine aktiv werden können. Der Leitfaden und die Praxisbeispiele sind im IQ Modellprojekt "Interkulturelle Arbeitsmarktlotsen aus Migrantenorganisationen in Nordrhein-Westfalen" entstanden. Labour market offers and tools do not always take into consideration the needs and life circumstances of migrants. This target group is furthermore mostly unaware of these options. Migrant organisations could do a lot to improve this situation: With the cooperation of labour market policy actors, the wishes of people with migration background could be considered in labour market networks. New developments can be suggested to cooperative partners via these networks. The manual wants to sensitise and support migrant organisations in these tasks. Central actors in labour market policy are introduced and specific options, tips and pointers are provided as to how and where migrant associations can become more active. The manual and the practical examples were developed as part of the IQ model project "Intercultural job market guides from migrant organisations in North-Rhine Westphalia" (Interkulturelle Arbeitsmarktlotsen aus Migrantenorganisationen in Nordrhein-Westfalen).
