Autorenporträt
Wieland Giebel hat die Berlin Story 1997 gegründet. Er wurde 1950 in Schmalkalden/Thüringen geboren, kam Ende 1952 über Berlin in den Westen nach Kassel. Während der Schulzeit sang Giebel zehn Jahre Kinderrollen an der Oper, gründete ein Kindertheater und den Verlag Elefanten Press, der 1971 in die Dresdner Straße nach Kreuzberg zog. 1996 gründete er den Verein, der das Geschichtsfestival Historiale durchführt sowie das Historiale Berlin Museum betreibt.
