A Compromise At Rosings Park: After Mr Darcy's disastrous proposal at Rosings Park, Elizabeth is forced to follow him to return his hat before it is discovered he was there. While she tries to comfort him, he kisses her and they are seen. Elizabeth's reputation is now compromised and Lady Catherine insists she marry the man in question, not realising it is her own nephew. But as Elizabeth and Darcy spend more time together, they grow in understanding. Perhaps Elizabeth has judged him too hastily after all?
