Autorenporträt
Dr. Maria-Gabriele Wosien studierte Slawistik an den Universitäten London und St. Petersburg, mit Promotion über das russische Volksmärchen. Sie studierte westliche und östliche sakrale Traditionen und entwickelte zahlreiche Tanz-Choreografien. Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt dem religiös-rituellen Ursprung der Tanzfolklore. Ihre Arbeit ist dabei auf das bewusste Erleben mythischer Bilder und Symbole ausgerichtet, die so ihre Heilkraft entfalten können. Ihre Tanzschöpfungen basieren auf traditionell überlieferten Bewegungsarchetypen, denen sie sakrale, klassische und Musik aus der Folklore zugrunde legt. Ihre Veröffentlichungen, darunter "Botschaft vom Himalaya", wurden in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt.
