Nazi war crimes have been well documented. But what about the victims? The faceless, nameless millions who were murdered. A Stolperstein is a memorial stone designed to restore a victim's name and thus his or her humanity. More than 50,000 stones have now been laid in continental Europe. "A Stone - A Name - A Human Being" describes how a small town in the German state of Hesse embarked on a project to come to terms with its dark Nazi past by laying Stolpersteins.
