Autorenporträt
> Rebecca is a long-time elementary school educator currently living in rural Tennessee. She is also a fine artist and illustrator, working mostly in watercolors, with children and animals as her favorite subjects. Her continuous interactions with and observations of young children have given her an empathetic "think as a child" perspective that comes across in her stories and illustrations. Extensive travels include three years living on a sailboat with her husband, Captain Will, while hosting guests serving in mission work in the Caribbean islands. The beautiful surroundings, culture, and peoples of the islands have been an inspiration for artwork and stories. Rebecca holds a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in elementary education and has exhibited and sold her artwork in shows in Washington State and is currently in galleries and shows in Tennessee.
