Lillie Ammann, Jack's wife of more than 45 years, grew up on her parents' farm in Dilley, Texas, and married Jack shortly after her graduation from Southwestern University. She had always wanted to write "someday," and after a stroke, she decided "someday" was now. She sold her interior landscape company and became a freelance writer and editor. She edits, designs, and publishes books for authors who choose to publish independently. Jack named her first business, a plant store, Lillie's Lovely Little Gardens, and her publishing company Lillie's Lovely Little Publishing Company. Lillie has published three novels and a number of short how-to ebooks
