Transmetropolitan - Back on the Street While Transmetropolitan can be called a classic, and rightfully so, it has become more relevant than ever in the political climate we've been experiencing in the last couple of years. While it can often seem brash and its crude humor might not convey its depth at first glance, the social commentary present is poignant and showcases, once again, that writer Warren Ellis is an absolute juggernaut in his field. The story follows Spider Jerusalem, a misanthropic journalist on the brink of insanity, while he tries to provide non-biased news and truthful accounts of the happenings in a dystopian megacity to its drugged up, uncaring citizens. A must buy for comic fans, bitter loners and people who've lost all hope in this world and humanity at large. 1 von 1 Kunden fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. |
