Alfonsina Storni

Alfonsina Storni kam 1892 im Tessin zur Welt und wanderte mit vier Jahren nach Argentinien aus. Sie lebte und starb mutig. In Buenos Aires war sie alleinerziehende Schriftstellerin, Dozentin und Theatermacherin. Sie lebte in der Grossstadt von 1912 bis zu ihrem Freitod am 25. Oktober 1938. Sie ist eine der wichtigsten Frauenstimmen Lateinamerikas und die berühmteste Schweizer Schriftstellerin, die nicht in einer Landessprache schrieb. Die erste deutsche Werkausgabe umfasst Lyrik, Erzählungen, Essays, Aphorismen, Theaterstücke für Erwachsene und für Kinder sowie autobiografische Texte..
Hildegard E. Keller, Prof. Dr., bekannt aus Radio und Fernsehen (Literaturclub SRF, Bachmannpreis, ORF/3sat), ist Autorin und Storytellerin im «Kriminellen Zürich». Ihr Roman «Was wir scheinen», ihre Hörspiele zur Mystik («Trilogie des Zeitlosen») und ihre Dokumentarfilme («Brunngasse 8») begeistern ein breites Publikum. Ihre Werkausgabe von Alfonsina Storni und die Biografie machen diese mutige Frau im deutschen Sprachraum erstmals greifbar. Keller macht einen Podcast auf alfonsinastorni.ch und erzählt packend. Zu ihrem Roman «Was wir scheinen» (Eichborn) schreibt eine Leserin: «Hannah Arendt, diese unerreichbar kluge Frau aus dem Olymp ist mir dank Hildegard Kellers Roman nun lebendig geworden.» (Februar 2024).
