A story mixed with mild humor, sarcasm, and a little philosophy. கல்யாணம் ஆன நாள் முதலாகவே தாத்தா ஒன்றுக்கும் லாயக்கற்றவர்; ஒழுங்கான வேலை, சம்பாத்தியம், குடும்பப் பொறுப்பு ஏதும் கிடையாது. ஓரு நாள் ஓட்டாண்டியாகவும் ஆகிவிட்டார். பாவம் அவர் மனைவிதான், செய்யாத வேலைகளையெல்லாம் செய்து, பாடுபட்டு, பெற்ற குழந்தைகளை வளர்த்து ஆளாக்கவேண்டியிருந்தது. பிள்ளைகள் வாழ்க்கையில் செட்டில் ஆகியதும், பாட்டிக்குத் தன் கணவன் மீது கோபம் பொங்கிப் பொங்கி வர, வார்த்தைகளால் சதா சாட ஆரம்பித்தார். அவமானத்தால் குன்றிய தாத்தா, வீட்டை விட்டு ஓடிப்போவார். ஆனால், வெளியே தாக்குப் பிடிக்க வழியில்லாததால் வெட்கம் கெட்டுத் திரும்பி வந்துவிடுவார். பலமுறை இப்படி ஆகிவிட்டது. ஒரு சமயம் பாட்டிக்கு சாமி வந்தது போல் வந்த கோபத்தைத் தாங்க முடியாது ஓடிப்போய்விட்ட தாத்தா, வழக்கம் போல் திரும்பிவரக் காணோம். கடைசியாய் பாட்டிக்கு ஒரு விடிவு வந்துவிட்டதா? மெல்லிய நகைச்சுவையும், நக்கலும், வாழ்க்கைத் தத்துவமும் கலந்த கதை இது.
