Tom Pierce is a small-business owner, a systems analyst, a retired pastor, and a life-long amateur musician. Whether programming, preaching, or picking a banjo, Tom loves a challenge, and seeks to apply insights gained in one endeavor to the problems faced in another. Born and raised in Knoxville, between the Tennessee River and the Great Smoky Mountains, he now lives in Georgetown, Kentucky with his wife Jonita. Between them they have five children, two grandchildren, and two rather spoiled cats. (The spoiling of the grandchildren has only just begun.)
