Swami Tapovan-ji Maharaj documented His travels to help spiritual aspirants understand not just the beauty of Himalayas but also It's sacredness and the various pilgrim spots and areas.
Swami Tapovan-ji Maharaj spirit of dispassion, His spirit of sacrifice, and His thirst for knowledge increased His fame and a lot of men and women started to come to Him eager to learn and study Vedanta. Swami Chinmayananda Maharaj who founded Chinmaya Mission, a world-wide organization with it's mission of spreading spirituality and Vendata knowledge throughout the world, was sent by His Guru, Swami Sivananda Maharaj, to study Vedanta under His guidance.
This compilation of His wisdom words is a small dedication to Swami Tapovan-ji Maharaj on His 100th year of leaving home to become a renunciate in the months of August-September (Janmasthami day) in 1923.
