Though his parents were a bit much, and even though his siblings were worthless, none of that mattered. Ares' drive, vision, and relentlessness had made him a billionaire, and he had no plans to stop anytime soon.
There was also the fact that his competitive streak made him a bit unhinged at times. His biggest rival was Kingston Industries, and his hate for its CEO was strong enough that he had no problem eating the souls of the weak if it put him one up over his rival. Now, while most people would find that extreme, he didn't see it like that. He only saw it as winning, something that he was very used to.

Capri Cohen had the entire world at her fingertips, even if it was a small world compared to the uber-rich. As the VP of Martha Holdings, she only answered to her father, even though it was widely whispered that it was she who really ran the company. Still, she wasn't one to care about awards or recognition, and all she really wanted was to continue the legacy that her grandfather had started.
There was also the fact that the company was her entire life, no husband or children to speak of. She had spent her entire existence learning the family business, determined not to lose it on her watch. Though her father was doing a wonderful job at the helm, as the only grandchild of Yoseph Cohen, there wasn't anything that she wouldn't do to make sure that his life's work lived on forever.

As soon as Capri finds out that The Cormac Corporation has taken over her grandfather's beloved company, the claws come out, and she refuses to back down. Still, when Ares Cormac suggests the perfect solution to both their problems, she has no choice but to take him up on his offer.
