SHANE STANLEY is a lifer. His career began in front of the camera at 9 months old before becoming a two-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and launching Visual Arts Entertainment. Best known for Executive Producing the #1 Box Office hit, Gridiron Gang for SONY Pictures starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Stanley's resume as a filmmaker spans over three decades. Shane offers a wealth of knowledge from several aspects of the industry focusing on educating future storytellers and helping them bridge the gap between what's taught in the classroom and what they'll experience in the real world. Shane completed a slate of films during the height of the COVID pandemic which he produced and directed positioning him as the go-to resource on COVID safety and protocol on film sets.Shane sits on several advisory boards for universities, film schools, and art programs across the country and is a contributing columnist for Student Filmmakers Magazine and NoFilmSchool.com as well as an instructor on Stage32.com, FilmCourage.com, and IndieFilmHustle.com. In April 2021 he testified before the US Library of Congress on behalf of universities to help amend a 1978 copyright law that made traditional learning difficult for film school students during the COVID/virtual learning era.
