My name is Trendalyn, and I am the co-founder and CEO of siSTAR Circle, LLC. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I have always had a passion for creating and leading. From a young age, I often imagined businesses in my mind. Although I didn't know how to bring them to life back then, the ideas never stopped coming.
I am a proud mother of four incredible children, one of whom is now an angel, and I am also blessed with three beautiful grandchildren.
In 2016, I co-authored a children's book with my youngest son, Savion, called "Play With My Brother." The book is about Savion's desire to have a normal relationship with his brother Jojo, who had cerebral palsy, and discovering alternate ways to have fun with him.
The experience of creating something meaningful together was truly special.
This book led to my business, Lucky 13, which was initially started to market the book and honor my preemie-born son, Jojo. I am currently working on rebranding Lucky 13 to honor Jojo's legacy and create opportunities for my children and grandchildren to thrive and achieve their dreams.
My first venture into a sisterhood-focused business was "Sharing Sisters," which started ten years before siSTAR Circle. It shared a similar vision but was focused on providing resources and services to women in need. The unsuccessful attempt at that business made me hesitant to try again.
However, after overcoming significant personal challenges, I began to rediscover who I was and rekindle my dreams. Meeting and talking with Dionne brought me full circle to siSTAR Circle.
siSTAR Circle is an organization of entrepreneurial like-minded women on the road to achieving excellence for themselves, with the mission of encouraging other women to do the same. Through the exchange of information, experiences, talents, and resources, it is our goal to build a safe and encouraging community of siSTARs.
Although I attended college, I didn't graduate. However, the lessons I have learned in life have been far more valuable than anything I could have learned in the classroom. Since co-founding siSTAR Circle, my desire to succeed and to leave a lasting legacy for my children and grandchildren has been my ultimate goal.
I look forward to what the future holds and am excited about the journey ahead, with my siSTARs.
