Rev. Dr. Aubyn Jones is a native Trinbagonian (T&T) West Indies, who followed his childhood vision from the classrooms of Fatima College through Howard University and beyond. During the fifties, he honorably served in the US Air Force, where he began preparing himself for professional training in the fields of Architecture and Urban Planning. Upon military discharge, he pursued his dreams at Howard University and by 1972 attained both Bachelor of Architecture and MCP degrees. Following a summer internship at the University of Manchester, England, he practiced at the University of Miami and Dade County government before retiring in 1997. A two-year volunteer service with VISTA created for him a new career path. At the turn of the century, Aubyn was lead by the spirit to enroll at Johnnie Colemonn Theological Seminary and obtain the M.Divinity degree. Later in 2013, he received the Doctor of Theology degree from College of the Open Bible in Greenville, South Carolina. Having lived in Florida most of his adult life and garnered a wealth of experiences, he now conducts self-empowerment workshops with individuals and small groups in the South Florida, where he currently directs a self-empowerment circle. At the core of his works is the transformation of consciousness, a spiritual awakening, and the very next step in human evolution. Dr. Jones believes that he has a practical method for one to achieve ultimate inner fulfillment in life. Admitting that life is a journey with many ebbs and flows, he presents a course of action that he believes would stymie the vicissitudes of life and elevate one's level of consciousness to greater heights when dealing with all challenges.
