The Egyptian researcher, Dr. Kamel Abdel Maqsoud Bakri, focuses on the planning process itself, its mechanisms and objectives, while the British researcher Sir Arthur Lewis focuses on the importance of planning for the success of the economic development process. Thus, the two visions are complementary despite the differences between them. Contrast, so we decided to bring them together in one book for widespread benefit and to make the two visions available together for new researchers.
