These two slipper styles are actually the same pattern but showcase one side of the work or the other. You will need to know how to pick up stitches and knit on double pointed needles to make the cuff. That may sound intimidating, but really isn't very difficult. Knitting on double pointed needles is the same as regular knitting needles but you don't need to flip your knitting over as you are working around in a circle. If you're not sure of how to pick up stitches, I have videos demonstrating this technique and many of the other stitches required on my website.
