Travels in Time & Dimensions is an anthology of short stories and novel excerpts, set in Christopher Jackson-Ash's FirstWorld Multiverse. CJA's writing explores the complex paradoxes that time travel inevitably throws up and the eternal debate over whether our lives are controlled by fate or chance. He is fascinated by the never-ending battle for domination between Law and Chaos and the role that the Balance plays in finding an appropriate middle way that we should strive to follow. And how does good and evil fit in? Perhaps, rather than fate or chance, we are ruled by our genes. Does the battle that Heroes undertake to come to terms with their special genes mirror the author's own struggle to come to terms with his sexuality? And where does the companion to the Hero fit into the narrative? The Immortal Prophet, Nostradamus, wrote that sometimes the Companion is more important than the Hero. This anthology demonstrates the veracity of that quotation as the Heroes are supporting characters to the Companion. This anthology can be read as a stand-alone work or be used as an introduction to CJA's FirstWorld novels.
