First, he learns that his fiance, Maggie, might be pregnant. Second, he learns that he might not be the father. In fact, the man who had recently kidnapped and raped her -- the Chemist -- (the man Cale shot during his arrest) might be the father instead. But Cale must set aside his emotions while he continues his search-and-rescue mission, trying to locate a pair of missing females who are enslaved by an international trafficking ring. Will time run out before he can rescue them? Can he somehow survive and return home in one piece? And even if he does, how will he resolve things with Maggie if she does turn out to be pregnant with another man's child?
