Next, I want you to know this true story is not about the game of football, but rather it is the story of the character and moral strength of the men with whom I had the privilege to play the game of football. It is also the true account of some ordinary men and women who became extraordinary by choosing to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Most of all, I want you to know the real solution to ending the bigotry, hatred, and hypocrisy, which have been ripping our nation and world apart. Please read this book with an open mind and heart.
