Fateful Diagnosis: Recovery not achieved. Beginning of a mother's pilgrimage in search of a solution to the mysterious health problems of her daughter Patricia.
Texas (1996)
Environmental Clinic: "Your daughter has Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS)."
Hopeful Diagnosis: Mother and daughter will reside for twelve months in a porcelain mobile home at an ecology housing camp for MCS patients. They will experiment with various alternative therapies, to no avail.
New Mexico (1997)
Discovery of El Dorado: Guided solely by her instinct, she risks the future of her family, and undertakes a journey surrounded by uncertainty.
Desperate Action: They will live for a year in a house in the middle of the high desert, isolated from society. There, she will discover new treatments which will restore her daughter's health.
