But as they become more emotionally involved, Alessa wonders if it's Kerrith she's falling for, or the man whose body he occupies.
When the strain of Kerrith's otherworldly presence threatens to destroy his host, Alessa re-doubles her efforts to find a way to return Kerrith to his own form. If she fails, she risks losing both the men who've somehow taken possession of her heart.
