In "The Thumbs that Guide Me", the boy thinks of his mother and the effect his father's death had on her while he's actively trying to erase the last memory of him from an Xbox game he found in the attic. The second, "Dad.0", the boy is also trying to erase his father's memory, but he's doing it from within the game using virtual reality. In this version, the mother decides to help.
