Funny truth, the child views the dad who shows up as the one who loves him most. You might wonder why there's only seven love languages. How can there be seven? Aren't there more? Is love limited to just these seven? My childhood is the basis for this book. It's the reason I am who I am with my kids, and why I feel the need to share this technique that has worked for me with parents who might be experiencing some difficulties. It's not meant to chastise or turn judge, jury, and executioner because let's be frank, no one has it down to the tees. No matter how many handbooks, magazines, or manuals you read, parenting isn't a one-shoe-fit-all job description. This book is centered around the traditional nuclear family with mother and father or a single parent that is rearing his or her children in a virtual home environment. Children often navigate on their own many of the modern-day challenges such as drugs, underage drinking, and teenage pregnancy. No matter who is parenting the child/ children most people have a full-time job, and they are working very hard at work, and at the same time they are trying to balance their personal growth, while focusing on their child/children's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We all want to have a happy and harmonious home that is a safe haven for all.
