She also had a great son, and though divorced, her ex-husband wasn't a bad person. Life had thrown them all a curveball, and they've all been doing their best to learn from it. Now, she prided herself on being ready for anything.
Actually, that's not true. Andrea has been through a divorce, has a sick son, and a best friend who keeps pushing her to go out and get laid, so you would think that she's ready for crazy.
