Emma Armbrust is a beautiful young girl living in Malibu, California. She is autistic, but because of this condition she has the ability to talk with horses. Horses communicate in pictures, which is also the main tool for autistic communication; thus they share a common neurological frequency. Because of this she becomes a national show jumping champion. This achievement is told against a back story that is the 50 million year old history of the horse and Emma's romantic life, that goes between a Lieutenant of Attila the Hun, in her autistic fantasy, and a young man in the hills of Malibu where they ride together in Emma's real life. With all this fame and celebrity Emma finds herself in a love triangle that she must solve. In the background are her loving parents who are trying desperately to get medical help for Emma, finally getting her on medication to make her more "normal", but at a great cost to Emma: she can lo longer communicate with here horse. This book is the first in a trilogy. The second book has Emma riding with the Samartian women warriors, 300 BC.

Colin Dangaard was reared in Mareeba, North Queensland, a dusty cattle town on the rim of the Australian Outback, where he grew up riding horses. He founded the Australian Stock Saddle company in Malibu, California. He also is a seasoned journalist, having worked out of 25 countries. He was the youngest editor in Asia, where he edited the HONGKONG STAR and later was Editor of The Dominion Sunday Times, a national newspaper in New Zealand. He sailed a 34-ft wooden boat from Africa to America, where he became Rupert Murdoch's first Hollywood Editor for the National STAR. He had his own TV show interviewing celebrities and became one of Hollywood's most widely syndicated columnists. Colin lives in Malibu, California, with his horses, cats, dogs, roses and many friends. His passions are racing horses cross country, bladed weapons, guns, whips, writing, gardening and wringing the best time he can out of every day.
