She is retired and lives with her husband Harry and two dogs Charley and Chloe in Hendersonville, NC. Reading, writing, movies, travel, friends, and family fill her time. She previously wrote The Long, Longer, Longest Day about an unusual day she experienced as a teacher in Boone, NC.
