Becoming frustrated with so many dead ends, she decided to forget it and get on with her life. Successfully applying for a position as a Teacher's Aide at the local school, she went on an excursion to a Historic Village on the coast where the children were told about the Pioneers who came searching for riches over 100 years ago. An elderly lady from the village gave Elizabeth a wooden box that had been in her family for generations. It was locked but had never had a key. Taking it home, Elizabeth was curious and asked Liam to pries it open. What they discovered in the box was to change their lives for-ever. Its contents seemed to have a hold over them and told of love, fear, and tragedy. Over time, it almost destroyed them.
