For over four years, she studied the ancient scriptures and moved up in the ranks fulfilling her dream. In those four years, she'd gained status as High Priestess and realized she would never give herself to any man, especially to a man she didn't know.
Mitry survived and became one of the Pharaoh's important Generals. With his service up, he came for her. She was defiant, and she begged him to release her from her vows. Noble and proud, he refused. Heartbroken and defeated, she journeyed with him to her new home in Memphis.
