Long walks remain his tonic, with long midwestern winters his kryptonite. Before finishing business school, Rose was a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He retired from a long career in the financial institutions industry. Rose and his wife of 40 years continue to make their home in Michigan.
