He is aware that even though his target audience is men many of those who purchase and read the book will be women. Thus much of his work has a general appeal to both husbands and wives. His motivation is to help stem the tide of divorce which has reached an almost 50% level in western culture. He believes that everyone, regardless of religion or ideology, is looking for a loving relationship that lasts.
